Meet Nurse Kristy
Nurse Kristy was born and raised in central Michigan. She lives in Alma with her husband Mark. She has 4 children and 6 grandchildren and three fur babies.
Kristy became a nurse in 2013, but has over 20 years experience in caregiving. Kristy started as a Home Health Aide at age 18, and quickly grew to love the patients she cared for.
Through the years, Kristy was able to assist with nail clinics under the leadership of an RN in senior living and community centers locally.
During these experiences, as well as time spent in sub acute rehab and hospice nursing, the love for senior care and specifically neglected foot and nail care, was born in her heart. She began to see that many elderly patients cannot get out to have their nails done at an office or salon. Winter weather even makes it unsafe at times.
It has become evident through her years of caregiving, that there is, and will continue to be, a desperate need for routine nail care for senior citizens.
